50th Generation: GreenAir Cars first to join unique business incubator

GreenAir Cars is delighted to announce it is among the first wave of companies selected to be part of 50th Generation, an “alternative incubator” committed to growing meaningful companies that create both profit and purpose.

As part of this unique opportunity, GreenAir Cars has received a £10,000 investment to help market our brand and enhance our operational infrastructure to aid further growth.

50th Generation is the brainchild of Carrie Bedingfield; entrepreneur, activator, author, speaker and founder of leading marketing firm Onefish Twofish.

She says that 50th Generation differs from the usual incubator format as it focuses on the source of future value – not simply chasing revenue or investment: “Each ‘generation’ of companies works together to create uplift.

“Key ingredients are funding, a transformational leader programme, lean start up programme, three types of mentoring, reduced cost of digital marketing, legal and accounting services and access to each other’s network.

“My goal is to show that purpose and relationships are the source of future revenue and deserve our highest focus. Each generation of companies will pave the way for the next.”

Justin Ott, co-founder and managing director at GreenAir Cars, says the opportunity to be part of something truly game-changing was the main driver behind the company’s decision to join the scheme.

“At GreenAir Cars, we recognise the importance of preserving the environment for future generations and this fits with the ethos of 50th Generation; building valuable companies that change lives for the next 50 generations.

“We are innovating in the field of ground transportation by delivering the comfort and service you’d expect from a premium service, including free onboard Wi-Fi, at a ompetitive price while ensuring our employees feel valued and maintain an essential work-life balance.

“We believe the help and support of the 50th Generation mentors will allow us to achieve our business objectives faster, smarter and in a more meaningful way.”

Carrie says she is delighted that GreenAir Cars is part of the first generation of companies to join the incubator: “GreenAir Cars is a perfect example of a company committed to purposeful business at scale; from reducing environmental impact to improving employee’s conditions and creating an amazing customer experience.

“Justin has vision, energy and humility in abundance.”

GreenAir Cars is one of eight businesses forming part of the first generation.  Others include Breaks for Families; a firm that provides individually tailored packages of respite care to disabled children, young people and their families and Conservation Careers; a recruitment firm aimed at placing great conservationists in meaningful jobs.
